NB: The Medal for Bravery (in German Tapferkeitsmedaille) is an honorary military decoration of the Austrian Empire and then of the double monarchy of Austria-Hungary. It originally included three classes: one gold, one small and one large silver. A fourth class, of bronze, was established by decree of February 14, 1915.
